Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI) has established itself as a transformative tool in knowledge acquisition and work dynamics, shifting from initial resistance to its adoption as an unavoidable everyday resource. This editorial analyzes the impact of AI on research and teaching, highlighting its potential to automate processes, optimize resources, and restructure traditional academic paradigms. Although the rapid integration of these technologies poses pedagogical challenges, institutional rejection deprives students and professionals of learning best practices. It is emphasized that, despite the broad operational advantages, methodological control and the validation of results must remain strictly under human critical judgment. It is concluded that educators and researchers have an ethical responsibility to lead a progressive and responsible incorporation of AI, promoting a constructive approach that fosters efficiency and enriches contemporary professional training.
